The keyboard is a mechanical type keyboard, featuring Cherry MX Red and SMT LEDs.

All keys have background light, 24bit RGB and addressable. One for each key, except spacebar that has an additional 8 LEDs.

On board there is a RP2040 that do all keyboard scanning, debouncing and management of special functions (like the reset and power buttons). It laso drives the 6 status LEDs. Again 24bit RGB and addressable.
These LEDs show the status of power, and disk access, ethernet and WiFi connectivity, etc.

The connection to the main board is through a dedicated SPI interface. Which in addition to the SPI interface has two wires for power enable and reset. It is connected through a standard FFC.

Disk access, Ethernet and WiFi connectivity, etc.
