It is really cool and fun that there are so many questions on WHEN this will be available. Well it takes time since I do this on the side.

💡
Normally I work as a electronic consultant and right now with advanced encryption devices as well as an instrument for detecting chemical warfare agents, explosives and narcotics.

That said I have used this device my self for almost 2 years. But it is a large step to manufacture and sell a CE/FCC approved device.

Anyway. One request that keep coming up is to have a 5V output for accessories. Accessories like WiFi cards, The Meatloaf device, etc.

So I did a sanity check to see how much changes it would take and especially if 2 USB Type-C connectors would fit, while still abiding the recommendation of 13mm cc measurement between two ports.

It turned out to be trivial, so I spent a few hours yesterday to accommodate that. This output fully supports USB Type-C PD, although only 5V, but it will negotiate as it should. This will add some cost. Around half a buck, so I guess that is ok.

I also had to redesign the mechanics to accommodate this extra port. However I had to do that anyway since the functional isolation barrier is 6mm high compared to the previous that was 5mm.
